Miss V had an amazing class of Year 5 and 6 students (9 and 10 year olds) at Pt. England School in Auckland, New Zealand. We enjoyed sharing our learning on our blog in 2010 and have left this online for you to come and enjoy as a record of our year.

The Treaty of Waitangi - by Miracle
This movie is about the Maori people when they came to New Zealand. It's about the Pakeha coming to New Zealand too. They argued about the country, they wanted the land. The Treaty helped them to live happily and peacefully.
Hey guys! My name is Bliss Beasley and I am a student at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. I am in EDM 310 which is a class where we are learning all about technology and how to use it. This is so neat what you did! Making a movie to depict what you are learning is awesome! I wish I knew how to do things like that. You all are so creative to come up with such a great idea. Keep up the good work and always use your creativity to show what you can do! :)

We're either Maori, Samoan, Tongan, European, Cook Island or Niuean - so we're an interesting bunch of kids!
